  • Gavin played as a youth with West Ham United FC & semi-professional in England before ending his playing career early through injury.  At this point he focused on a coaching career.

    Gavin holds his UEFA A youth license & Bachelors Degree in Coaching Science. He spent 10 years in the prestigious Fulham FC Academy where he worked with all age groups from U8 - U23.

    His primary focus was with the highly successful U18 team who went on to win back to back U18 EPL championships whilst also winning the U19 Super Group at the Dallas Cup. 

    He has developed over 50 players who are now playing professional soccer around Europe & the USA. Many of these players are competing on the highest stage.

    During his four years with Napa United the club has grown immensely. Earning MLS Next status & moving a high number of players to higher levels through a commitment to soccer excellence.

    Gavin lives in Napa with his wife Mary & two daughters, Iris & Elysée Belle.

  • Peter was an accomplished two-sport athlete at St. Helena High earning all-league honors, captain of the tennis and soccer teams, and a Sac-Joaquin State Section Champion doubles player. Peter went to the University of Oregon to play tennis, but ultimately decided to return to St. Helena and pursue college locally.

    Peter coached the boys and girls Varsity soccer programs and the Varsity tennis program at St. Helena High for 7 years and a combined 13 seasons between 1992 and 1999 while earning his Bachelor of Science Degree from UC Davis.

    Highlights of Peter’s soccer and tennis high school coaching accomplishments include 4 tennis league titles, 1 tennis state section championship, 4 soccer playoff appearances for the boys’ varsity program including a State Section Semifinal appearance, establishing a girls’ Varsity program, and voted Coach of the Year by the Napa Valley Register Fall of 1999.

    Peter has directed soccer and tennis summer camps/clinics for St. Helena’s Parks and Rec Department and coached private lessons for youth players.

    Peter hung up the whistle in 2000 as he married his wife, Kelly, and began family life. However, the draw to coach brought Peter to Napa United as he coached his oldest son, Sam, in recreation soccer at U10.

    Peter now coaches in the academy program and focuses much of his work on developing the 7v7 program. He coached his daughter’s 2008 team to a top-twenty national ranking in the United States, according to Got Soccer. He holds a USSF D license and is a paid staff member of Napa United.
